Who Am I, Really?
Hi! I'm Sephra!
I'm an instructional designer, audio engineer, and researcher who is endlessly curious! I hold a Bachelor's in music production, a Master's in experimental psychology, and I am currently a PhD candidate studying systems science at Binghamton University.
In my career, I've been a musical performer and producer, a business owner, a full-time faculty member at 4-year universities, an instructional designer, and an organizational leader.
I love sharing my learnings and ideas at the intersection of psychology, sound, learning, and systems. I also use this space to process my personal journey; I grew up in an evangelical environment and am currently in the process of deconstructing. You can expect honest reflections on how these shifting paradigms influence my life and my work.
Whether you're here for the systems science deep dives, the instructional design insights, or the personal reflections, I'm so glad you stopped by!
